love this, getting started in hockey advanced analytics and trying to get my friends more into hockey, what do you suggest for a team based version of this (to get a general understanding of the league)
That's awesome! If you were to use a team version of this you could use xGF and xGA to see top offensive and defensive teams. Then you could use GSAX to see teams goaltending tandem strengths. If you wanted to get even deeper look you could use high danger chances and rush vs forecheck/cycle offense (to see where teams generate offense from). Personal preference but you could decide between using either microstats or regular analytics or a combo of both!
